I wanted to take my kids to one - since we were across the street from one
but they just wanted to go home . The candle lighting was on or local
T.V station for half a secound.

It's tradition in our house - for the last 8 years we've been to Grand Army Plaza 1 night. I've only missed 1 year, the year I had a 3 week old baby when DH took them alone. The kids look forward to getting prizes there, more than anything else!
