So last time I was in NY, I found cholov Yisroel cheese similar to parmesan sprinkle cheese..
Typically it's only Haolam that has it, so we do not purchase because of it's high salt content. This cheese is for some reason better, and uses vegetable enzymes as a preservative I guess so the salt content is much less!! So he can eat it too!
So my daughter discovered it today, and u would think it is gold.. Mykids are just going crazy for it.. cracks me up!

Haolam is cholov yisroel. Why would you not buy that brand? Is there something I should know?

which brand is that mm?
(I usually don't have cheese in my house. my kids "think it's gold" too and whenever I do have it, that's all they eat. the package could be gone in like 35 seconds. )

I have a "secret stash" in the back of our second fridge in our basement...sometimes I just sneak down there, and shake the cheese directly into my very open mouth...that and my chocolate stash---but not together oy!---what decadence!

Just for informational purposes, paremean cheese is hard cheese and you have to wait 6 hours. I had heard that but never seen it written until recently I was in a milchig restaurant (sorry, I don't remember which one) and there was a big sign hanging that said that if you order any dish with parmesean cheese, please be aware you have to wait 6 hours before eating fleishig. My sister loves that stuff and asked a rav hamachshir at a kashrus lab and he confirmed it to be true.

Yup, dvora speaks the truth!
I was at inlaws and they had the parmesan cheese. Luckily, for me, the milchig excuse means we have to go get ice cream for dessert

It's "aged". Just the fact that it's "hard" doesn't mean anything.
