Call an appliance guy and ask if you can still use the oven with the windows open. And schedule an appointment for after YT while you're on the phone.

If the vent didn't damage the range when it fell, of course you can still use the oven. If it's a gas range, crack open a window.

The only vent cracked my stove-top, which makes me wary to use it.
BH I have a second oven (a wall oven). Just very frustrating.
