I purchased Maybelline tattoo studio eyeliner because it said it would last 36hours, perfect for shabbos and yom tov- well aside from the fact that it does not last that long, I can't figure out how to sharpen it. It is the gel pencil liner' crayon gel. The bottom pulls off, but I don't see anything to sharpen it with or to push up or twist. Anyone have this product and know how to sharpen it. (A pencil sharpener won't work as the liner is in a plastic container so it should twist up or sharpen itself somehow.)
Thanks!

It looks like you are not the only one with this issue. Read the questions next to the reviews on Target.

Not what you asked, but the pot with the brush lasts much longer. The twist up types need more oil so they don’t last as long. I use the maybelline in the pot.

I have this- you can use a regular eye liner sharpener. I know it seems like it won’t work- but I figured I try or it’s garbage- and it ended up working!

I use this too and there is no way to sharpen. It lasts for around 8(!!) uses. I keep buying because this eyeliner really does stay on but it is a rip off BIG TIME!!

There’s nothing to sharpen after the point goes down

I had the same issue and then discovered this excellent reckon sharpener that really works. I’ve been using the eyeliner for a while and have been very happy with it...
hope this helps!

What are you sharpening if it doesn’t twist up? There is so little liner in there...

I’m already in my 40’s and I haven’t figured out how to use a brush without making a mess on my face... Can't Believe It

Are you sure we’re referring to the same eyeliner? This is the one I use...

it’s a gel pencil, not a twist up type, and the pencil can be sharpened using the correct sharpener.

Yes this is what I have. The only pencil is the point sticking out. That’s it. I don’t think there’s anything else in there. The pencil point sticking out will only last for a few uses.

There is more pencil in there... just try sharpening it. If the point keeps breaking- try using the revlon sharpener I posted earlier. That worked for me when my old sharpener one couldn’t get a point.
Good luck Wink
