My first mohel did. My second mohel didn't. Maybe he still will...I don't know. The baby is 18 months old, so I'm not holding out much hope.

Yes(or he sent another mohel because he was away). Plus he ended up coming back the same day because ds was bleeding too much and put in stitches. We were very relieved we didn't have to take ds to the hospital.

He better come back. He needs to check if the skin is healing and bleeing ceased. And take of the dressing.
At least to check if the job was done right!
Even that our Mohel came back to see DS's Brit Milla 3 days later, he saw him again 6 months later by chance, and asked to see his brit milla, and he had to pull a peice of skin that was stuck back off again - and I'm glad he caught that! B"H next time around I'll be asking Mohel to come back 2 months later JUST IN CASE!

Honestly, I can't remember. One bris was 7.5 years ago & one was 3 years ago. I hope he did though.

I think the pediatrician looked at it at the well-baby visit soon after anyway.

I have five boys, four diff mohels (my father "did" two of the five boys). Of the three mohalim that I paid, I KNOW that the last one, nearly 3 years ago did not come back to check and I am not sure about the other two. The last mohel gave us instructions and a phone number to call if there were issues.

no, my mohel didn't come to check, but gave me instructions what to do...
every mohel has their method, and with the mohel we used, there was no reason to change the dressing, the bandage fell off after a few days (thats what the mohel said would happen) I bathed the baby in dreft, I kind of held him in the tub, and soaked him for 5 minutes for 8 days after the bris and that was that!!!
also, until the bandage fell off, baby couldn't be in teh sitting position

My mohel saw the baby at least three times. Once before the brit, and gave pre brit instructions. Once right after to bandage and take care of the post brit, and give instructions. and then three days later to remove the bandages and check on healing.
And for one of my son's who was yellow, he saw him 3 times before the brit.

mohel came 3 days be4 bris, said it was too complicated for him, sent a specialist mohel for the bris itself. and then the first mohel came back the day after the bris to check and take off bandage, and told me to bathe the baby 3 days later (after rosh hashanas 3 days), but not touch the bris until it healed 100%. he had me put on these drops, when those finished bacitracin, and once the tube was used up, zehu.
