I use the George foreman grill all the time to grill chicken, meat, and veggies. Super quick and easy.

Shwarma chicken (pre seasoned). You fry a diced onion and add the chicken, and mix well. You then keep mixing it every few min till done.

You can serve it in a pita with salad as a side. Or with fries or baked potato.

This is so not summer. More like fall/winter. Op is looking for easy shmeasy SUMMER suppers.

BAKE THE RICE!
Delicious and super easy

1 cup rice
1.5 cups water
1 tsp salt
1.5 tbsp oil

Put ing in a pan and mix together. Cover and bake on 400 for an hour.
When done fluff it with a fork

I even like it better than cooked rice.

I serve it together with Baked Tilapia and use the extra sauce for the rice. One of my husbands favorite suppers!

Fiery Baked Tilapia
4 tbsp veg or canola oil (I use avocado oil)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika

Mix all ingredients together and cover the fish with this sauce. Bake on 350 for 25-30 minutes

Fine, but a baked potato is definitely a wintery food item.

I bread a lot of chicken cutlets-and I freeze them raw. I serve it plain, or I cut it into strips and make chicken strip salad, or I make schnitzel wraps, etc or serve it as is/ the options are endless!

A potato wrapped in foil and thrown in a campfire-aaah with a cup of hot cocoa. Definately summer. And schawarma - a four season food. My husband just confirmed that one!

You can spread greek strawberry or vanilla yogurt on a cookie sheet and put pieces of strawberry, banana etc on it, freeze it and break into chunks- like choc bark

For the little ones: Cottage cheese eaters? I fill ice cream cones with cottage cheese for a dessert and meal combo. Sounds strange but they love it.

Use boiling water for the rice and it is done in half the time! (If you have an instant pot, follow the same recipe, but use only 1 cup of water and cook for 8 minutes.)

Some more simple supper ideas:

Fish sticks (I like the Dr. Praegers) + ketchup + instant mashed potatoes + baby carrots

Taco shells + baked beans + canned vegetables

Tuna pasta (if you don't mind making pasta) - just mix with tuna, mayo, spices, and optionally frozen mixed vegetables

Or you can just take the yogurt and put it in the freezer. I personally like the me hadron vanilla (not greek) frozen and the yummy kids strawberry yogurt tastes like ice cream- just cheaper

Let it sit for 5 min outside the freezer and then eat with a spoon. The more sugar, the softer it is...
