A third season was initially planned (I know one of the minor actors) but I guess that it fell through at some point.
Such a shame. It was a fantastic series. They only thing I've watched since is Kipat Barzel and that wasn't nearly as good.

Part of me is hoping that there will be a resurgence of interest because of it being released on Netflix, but I realize that's probably a fool's hope.
I am VERY late to this party, but I just binge-watched the WHOLE 2 Series in about a week. Fabulous stuff.
So I have a few questions
I. Is there definitely no Season 3?
2. The biggest mistake in the series (to me) is Dvorah's B'Day-Nissan 22, The day after Pesach. With no mention whatsoever about Pesach before it.
3. Where can I watch Shababnikim?
4. Where can I watch srugim?
5. Any other recommendations? Either American stuff to watch in English?
6.or other Hebrew things to watch?
Thank you!
I have a few questions and a few things I noticed:
1) Yes, I noticed that Lipa was Avri from Srugim
2) Did anyone else notice that Akiva's friend Levi Yitzchak was Yochai from season 1 of Srugim (Reut's boyfriend-- the one that wants to marry her)
3) Towards the end of season 1 of Shtisel, Shulem goes to Elisheva and tells her "You won't do to my son what you did to your other husbands." What did she do to her other husbands? I think I missed that......
4) I loved how the Bubby was davening for the people from the Bold and the Beautiful!
5) Throughout the series, shulem mentions how he has 6 children. Do we ever meet them all? we know Gitty, Akiva, Tzvi Aryeh, and we meet Rachelli once. Anyone else?
6) Yes, I noticed that about Devorah's birthday, it couldn't have been 22 Nisan. makes no sense. And I loved how when he goes to get the brandy, Menucha is on the phone saying "I wish I had celiac... I would always be thin..." (glad he dumped her!....)

In terms of there being a 3rd season, I wold think that the fact that the show ended, here in Israel, over 3 years ago, would say that there is no other seasons.
I bet with all this interest there will be a third session. Netflix will probably pay big money to create one with all this interest. I just want to add that one of the reasons that Gitti took back her husband was while separated she went to a rabbi for counseling he advised her that if she didn't see with her own eyes her husband cheating on her then it didn't happen. That's why she never let Lipa talk to her about what happened while he was gone! She desperately wanted to believe that this whole thing never happened!!

Yes. Until I thought about the fact that this whole conversation (which I too am a part of!) and thinking that it's really not that different to what we are all doing on this thread (lol!)
If this was a true story Id love to know how Akiva's almost Kallah is doing (the one in the very beginning, who cried when he wanted to break it up), who she married, if shes happy.
