about the list- I mean that when you come onto this site, you can click on a link for baby names.
Anyway, this forum doesnt only have to be baby names, it can also be a discussion on the importance of naming a child, what it means and everything

I bought a baby name book when I was pregnant and there are loads of Israeli names in it and loads of names you would never want to call your child...such as Yishmael...might have Hashem's name within it, but would you really want to name your son that??
But there are alot of good ones. Also it gives the meanings of the names, unless it's from the Torah sometimes it has a meaning and sometimes it doesn't.

I like Shir Simi Smadar's (I think that's the name!) book The Complete Book of Hebrew Baby Names. It will tell you where the name comes from and if it has a negative connotation, etc.
