This refers to the silver and golden utensils and the garments. According to the Targum the garments were for the children to wear. As can be seen from ancient Egyptian tomb drawings, their clothing was very short, only suitable for our children & not for Jewish adults.

Would it be possible to include translation?

From what I understand, these all seem to suggest tznius as a form of a behavior and mindset. How does one relate that to today's focus of tznius as a dress code primarily?

There's nothing specific in Tanach about tznius and clothing. Something to ponder.

I really wouldn't use ,והיה מחניך קדוש. It's the halacha that soldiers have to cover their excrement. (Btw, this halacha is enforced in the IDF.) Not a very pleasant image.

years ago in many cultures it was commonly accepted that women didn't expose their elbows, legs and so on. therefore less need to for today's dress codes. however, the various sumptuary takonos show that the yetzer hora for overdoing it wasn't nonexistant.
