I’ve read a few articles in the last two days and they say to throw out all romaine lettuce regardless of its origin/type. Is this applicable to greenhouse grown romaine lettuce? Like specifically the Positiv brand?

I wish I knew how folks are saying it's safe. How do we know? This outbreak is in the US and Canada, the CDC is saying ALL romaine, not just the ones that aren't grown for the kosher consumer...

I seriously do want to know how we can know it's definitely safe, not trying to incite in any way.

The companies sent out a letter on their own letterhead that it is good. That is not reliable source. I am waiting for cdc or health Dept to test it and tell me it's good to eat.

Because they have their own greenhouses. Regular lettuce is grown elsewhere. The e-coli outbreak is not coming from jewish companies.
