I'd like to use it up.. together with a dairy dinner?
I remember seeing somewhere a recipe that has cabbage and cashews. Anyone know the ing. of that?
Or any other salad suggestions that have white shredded cabbage in it..
Thanks!

My all time favorite is to make a salad dressing with blue cheese chunks. Mix the blue cheese with mayo, sour cream or both. Blend some of the cheese in, and crumble the rest. Toasted pecans or walnuts are very good as a topping. Chopped green apples are good with it, too.
For some reason, blue cheese and cabbage are just made for each other.

ra_mom's salad seems easier and uses fewer ingredients.
But if you have everything you need for the recipe I posted, it's really really good.
The combination of flavors there is perfect.
And it's so easy to put together (if you have all the ingredients)

I ended up using yours because the cashews and craisins called my name.
I skipped the purple onion (not a fan of it + lazy to cut it) and the sprouts.
I also used nish nosh dressing that I had in the fridge, added some mayo plus ketchup and it was delish!!! Dh is not a fan of salads but he loved this.
Oh and the kicker- The white cabbage ended up being too soft to use.. so that was dumped but we had a great salad because of it, lol.

Happy you enjoyed! Try it once with sprouts- it adds a great crunch.
