I wish this would've happened during the week and not on shabbos morning!!! At least I could've posted here a picture of my DS covered in white!!!
I was getting dressed and the kids were playing. DH had just returned from shul and I hear a panicked DH calling me: "YOU HAVE TO GET IN HERE RIGHT NOW!!!! HURRY!!!"
I ran out of the bathroom and I just stopped in my tracks, took a look at my kids and started laughing. DD got a hold of baby powder and proceeded to shower herself and her brother with powder!! DS looked like a miniature Einstein with his white flyaway hair!! The clothing, the shoes the floor EVERYTHING WAS COVERED IN BABY POWDER!! (Mind you it smelled good!!)
I quickly dumped DS into the bathtub, undressed him and washed his up especially his hair. Globs of powder were flying everywhere!! DD wasnt so bad, I just had to change her clothing, thats all.
Besides it being shabbos morning and I had to wait until motzei shabbos to clean it up, I don't own a vacuum! I locked the door and just waited for motzei shabbos. Then I called my mother got her vacuum and got to cleaning the powder shower!

Be careful - it's dangerous to inhale.
BTW, Why couldn't you sweep it up?
I'm laughing imagining the fun your kids were having!

B"H nobody slipped!!
That was why I kept the door locked until I could get a vacuum to clean up the mess. If I would've swept it, it would've flown everywhere. The easiest was to vacuum and then wash the floor. DD actually did this once before! Since then I always tried to keep any powders away from them. I don't know how they reached the back of the dresser (where's there's a will there's a way!!).
I can't stop laughing remembering what my little Einstein looked like!! He just needed the glasses perched on the tip of his nose and it wouldve been perfect! I think this is a great idea for next purim: A miniature zaidy!!
