My DD needs to see a psychiatrist for OCD.
Anyone have someone decent that takes Fidelis?
Or if there is anyone decent that works with a sliding scale.

Try bikur choilim of Rockland county.
They have several good therapists in their office. Male and female.

Bikur cholim will only allow you to see their psychiatrist if your a client of theirs seeing a regular therapist (atleast 3x yet) is the rule.
The psychiatrist there is very experienced, also very medical, and quick.
There is a new center in Monsey called Daas Wellness, they have a psychiatric nurse practitioner that is GREAT. Google Daas Wellness Center, it's on route 59 and S Cole. They are generally more flexible, and I am very happy with the therapist dc 5 yrs old is seeing, and the psychiatric nurse. Ahe really listens, understands kids and medications and is on target. Easy to communicate with, give you time and will call you back.
They take Fidelis, try them

I didn't want to go to Bikur Cholim just because I know so many people there.
I will try Daas.
Not on Fidelis but if I could scrape money together (where is that money tree hidden when I need it) someone suggested I go to Dr Hizami?
Any thoughts?

Had a bad experience with Dr. Hizami.
He misdiagnosed or rather didn't diagnosis my X husband who was a bipolar, narcissist psychopath and made me be another few yrs in a hell abusive marriage.
Just treated him with Zoloft when he should've given him other meds for his mental illness.

So funny I don't get good feed back about hizami but I know he is busy and charges a fortune.
He is a friend of my family but I don't know him on a professional level.
Going to look into Daas

Call ECHO Institute for Health, they have the best medical referrals and they go according to your insurance. Good luck

I’m very happy there they did have a story but my husband spoke to all the main people from there they said they had no choose but needed to get cps involved parents made the hole Shabang about it to the news

There was a thread here about DAAS that was removed. I believe it had something to do with a complaint from a family that they called CPS on, there was no credible source and it was removed.
I would not take that as a reason not to use them, if you have heard other nice things about their therapists, don't let this change your mind

I just want to say that whatever Center you use, find out if you will be seeing someone licensed or an intern.
I’m not saying interns are bad but they are limited.
