What do you mean by “ done in the oven”? Do you mean warmed in the oven or frozen raw and cooked after?

Baked in the oven. Then frozen for future use.

You can make meatballs or chicken soup in the oven, although they are usually made on the stove. Other ideas are meat or dairy lasagna and pizza

I find using my oven heats up my kitchen more than using the stove top.

Spinach kugel, broccoli kugel, butternut squash kugel, cranberry apple kugel. They VERY IMPORTANT key to these is that they must be defrosted properly, otherwise they will be soggy. To defrost, put them straight from the freezer into a high temp oven (400/450). You want to blast all the moisture right outta them.

Quiche
Roast
Mushroom sauce

Anyone who posts freezable dishes, can you also post your recipe? A lot of dishes can be frozen well with some recipes but not others. I froze food before I had my baby, and I found that some of the things recommended on Imamother worked well, while others didn't.

Quinoa- make red and white and freeze in zip bags so you can see the color. Defrost and use for sides or salads.

Apple crisp/crumble - freeze the apple mixture an oven to table dish and freeze the topping in a bag separate raw. Remove from freezer, assemble, defrost/bake in oven, serve

Lots of main dishes. Baked or roasted chicken, chicken cacciatore, arroz con pollo, oven shnitzel, roast, pulled beef, tongue. Side dishes like kugels, pies and muffins. Cakes and cookies. Dessert pies can be made and frozen (lots of easy ones that taste yum and don't need to be baked at all).
