I was asked to make the salad for a chanuka party for 20 adults. How many bags of lettuce should I buy? Any yummy recipes for a crowd? I'd like to spend as least as possible so ideas to cheaply bulk it up are welcome.

There is a layered salad recipe in the kosher palette (I think) that is very good, super easy to make and feeds a crowd.

Where are you located? KRM has grape tomatoes and kribies on special until Tuesday.

Lettuce
Tomato
Cucumber
Pepper (3 colors)
Radish
Red onion

Chop lettuce
Thinly slice onion and radish
Cube - cucumber take out seed , tomato take out seed , peppers

In a large bowl mix lettuce onion and radish
On top in a shape of a target or bullseye from the center going out tomato, cucumber, yellow pepper, green pepper, red pepper. Any order is ok.

I like a lemon cumin dressing, but any favorite is good
Olive oil
Lemon juice
Cumin
Salt
Sorry I don't have measurements.

Did they specifically say green lettuce salad
Salad could also mean pasta, potato, coleslaw, three bean, which is cheaper than green garden salad

Will there be other salads too?

If it's the only one, I would do at least 2 packs of the Andyboy (6 hearts). Not sure what it is in oz.
