I'am organising a summer scheme for kids between 3 to 5 in the summer. For the last Thursday I'am organising a funfair for the kids. Does anyone have any ideas for what stalls I can have there. Ideas that I have so far are: knock down the tins, bob the apple, lucky dip, find the penny. Does anyone else have any ideas. I need about 12 stalls. Thanks in advance.

Go to a grocery store and buy all different sizes of beans (from Great Northern to Lentil) and mix them al together in a container. You get a rug or piece of carpet and scatter a couple of hadnfuls of beans on it. You let the children collect beans for a limited period of time (like one minute) and then instead of just countign to see who has the most beans you adjust the scores so that the smaller the bean is the more points it is worth. The one with the most points is the winner.

lollies in a styrofoam-pick the colored stick for a prize
pick a slip of paper-answer the Torah question
roll giant dice-certain lucky numbers are the winner
paper covered tin cans, both lids removed; how high can you stack them?
velcro ping-pong balls thrown against furry fabric with a bullseye painted on it
race toy cars on a track made of wood building blocks (3 can play at a time)
floating duckies in a pool, different prize markings taped to their bellies
guess the number of beans in a jar (winner at the end)
marble painting -paper cut to fit an aluminum pan, small globs of paint on paper; tip the pan to roll marbles through the paint. Nice take home prize (put the name on
the back before you start)
