Can I use corn flake crumbs instead of matzameal or is it very different?

I did not have matza meal and used a little corn flake crumbs and a drop of flour. I used very little of each and the consistency was very liquidity that I was worried if it would turn in to a patty. It did turn into firm patties. The egg and the mayo bind it together when baking.

I do a raw egg for every can of tuna. a dollop of mayo, bread crumbs, mix it really well, make patties and bake, delicious. one bowl, hardly any prep time and warm and nutritious.

I mixed everything in the frying pan I used to saute the onions. I even poured corn flake crumbs on one end of the pan and coated patties from there. Then I put patties in a 9x13 pan to bake. So it really was just one pot that got dirty.

I made these and I left out the matzah meal (diet reasons). I also was short on time so I didn't add sautéed onion. They came out great.
After 20 minutes I put them on broil for about 2 min on each side
