I have a son who would like to be in the Jewish music field. I think it was very astute of the writers to give Aryeh leib this particular challenge. The music world opens up opportunities but also can lead to exposure to a lot of challenges, be them tznius, pride, fame, etc.
sorry one of my fb friends posted the last episode from season 2. I could only share it like this on fb. ill try to post it again if I can. or on motzie shabbos

RE: the TV interviewer's reference to Xtian imagery
How many of you have read The Gift of Asher Lev?
He's an artist who portrays his mother within window panes with a definite imagery of a cross. I think he considers his father's traveling while his mother waits anxiously at home (looking out the window) to be a type of crucifixion. Needless to say, his parents are none too pleased with him.
One wonders if all artists are pushed to study Xian art and themes, or if the writers here were influenced by this book. I seem to recall that Asher Lev's mentor told him you can't be an artist without this study.
