I'll stick with Cofix, thanks! Paying 10+ shekel for a cup of ice coffee leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

I love Holy Bagel's, but it's more like ice cream than coffee

Most I find to have too little coffee in them, too much water milk and sugar.
Is there only plain coffee, or also flavored? Mocha, caramel, hazelnut...

I think my favorite is Roladin. I don't like them super sweet.
DH loves the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf with tons of whipped cream on top.

Most of the five shekel coffees are like coffee flavored slurpee. Refreshing on a hot day though.
The best are from real coffee shops, like Aroma or Hillel.

Do note though that cofix gives you half the amount you get at Aroma.

I'm not much of a coffee drinker, so I don't have much to add here.
Just want to say this story: when I was single, I was on a bus to the Kotel, next to an African-American (emphasis on the American) woman. She told me her husband was temporarily working in Jerusalem for the State Dept. We chatted about Israel for a bit, and she said "And can you imagine, not a SINGLE Starbucks in the entire country????"

I don't think I've ever had the type of ice coffee everyone talks about.
They only came to Israel during my post WW period and how on earth am I supposed to calculate the points (or do I want to really...).
For that matter I've never had a milk shake in my entire life. I like to eat my calories rather than drink them. Feels more substantial that way.
I drink hot Americano (low fat milk on the side) throughout the year.
Yes, I know I'm being a self-righteous martyr and killjoy.
Hug away...

Truth?
The best Ice coffee is the one I make at home
Big spoonful of taster's choice, a little boiling water to melt it, add a bunch of ice cubes and wait for everything to cool back down than fill the cup with milk.
yumm!
I don't really like the slushy ones. I do love coffee milkshakes anywhere anytime.

That's not ice coffee! That's cold coffee with a few ice cubes.

I have a name of an excellent therapist. She specializes in situations where people have been very very deprived, either physically or emotionally. PM me for more details

You know that because of you, I'm going to have to go out and sample every single Ice Coffee listed here so we can have a scientific taste-test.

I'm not deprived. This way I can blow all the calories that I save on the cake (make it cheesecake please!) that I have with my low-fat coffee. Same way I drink diet soda with all my meals. Makes sense. Sort of...

Even I've had that. Actually my friends and I lived on that (well, with a different water/milk ratio) when we were in highschool. It's how we swung the all-nighters that we pulled cramming together for our bagruyot. We used to whizz it in the blender and pretend the froth was cream.
It's what they used to serve you here when you went to a cafe and asked for an ice-coffee.
If you were being decadent you asked for a scoop of ice cream in it.
