Forgot to put my Schlissel in my Schlissel Challah :(

One of the best pics I saw was a store bought challah in a bag with a set of keys laid on top if it. Sanguine wishing you and everyone else a year of Parnasa and hatzlcha ( even if you did not have Shlissel challah)

This is what I did to save the situation. I just poked the tip of the key into the bottom of the Challah - I have no idea what the key was for - one of those unknown keys floating around the house. for lunch we just put the key next to the Challahs. End of Schlissel challah story

Do just found out that the more accepted minhag is to shape it as a key or put a piece of dough shaped like a key on top. I made a long thin challah, bent the top around and put 2 globs of dough at the other end. It looked pretty good!

One variation of the minhag is to do just that, poke the dough or challah, some connection to matzah. So now if your parnasa goes well, forget all the tefillos and hishtadlus, you'll know the real reason why Wink
