Does anyone know if there is a halacha or what is the deal with sleeping towards the door I m not sure if with the feet of the head? thank you if you can provide a source would be great.

there are sources about not sleeping with your feet to the door (AFAIK this only applies if your feet are directly in line with the doorway, and if the door eventually leads you out of the building) since that's what they do with a meis, kind of like pouring backwards etc. We had a problem with this in our first (small) apt since the beds only fit one way, and my dh gave a rav the specifics and he said it was OK. check with your LOR.
