The colors in the photo are not so true - the pink is pinker and the grey is lighter. But I'm quite pleased (and so are they). P.S. Thanks, Rubber Ducky, for enabling anonymous posting! I would be too shy to post otherwise~

Love them! You are sooooo talented! I am not sure why you are posting anonymously! You should take ownership of your fantastic work!!! I love creativity and I think it is SO SPECIAL that you have this skill, that you have made gorgeous hats for your girls, but even more importantly, that your girls see you doing this kind of a hobby and that someday you will be able to teach this skill to them! Rock on!

OP here. Well, they're not twins, one hat is actually a little larger than the other.
I can't locate the page right now, but if you google "free crochet pattern baby beanie" you can adapt any pattern.
Basic idea is you start with 15 crochets into a little loop, then do two stitches in each stitch, next rown two every second stitch, next row two every third stitch, etc, till you get to the right size (they give you approximate number of rows you'll need for each age/size. However, it depends a lot on the hook & how tightly you crochet.
You can also find patterns for flowers all over the web, as well as cute little tutorials. I also made some with bows, one with an argyle cuff, and one with a sort of Burberry design (you can find that on-line too!)
As for why I'm anon, because I don't need people recognizing me by my crafts...

Wonderful! I especially like how you switched the colors on the hats so while they still match they aren't uniform! Well done.
