My five year old has entered the bathroom humor stage and its driving me crazy! Now all the kids are into it and I hear words like poop waaaaaaaaaaay to many times in one day!
When do they grow out of this stage? and what can I do to discourage it?

Oy. Not sure I ever grew out of it.
Although mine is probably a bit more sophisticated at times
On a more serious note, when I can ignore it, I do.
When I can't get away with pretending I just didn't hear it, I reword it.
Hatzlocha!

If you're talking about a boy, the answer is NEVER. My husband never outgrew it. Nor, it seems, did my father.

not loving the "never" answers!
ok, I'll rephrase- when does it stop being the only conversation in the house?
does that work better?

Oh yes. Good point.
I've yet to meet a male that did not enjoy a good bathroom joke or reference.
