Well, I picked up some adorable picture frames with a design that matched my room really well. Problem is, I need more, and of course can't get them.
But - I had the idea to find a fabric that will coordinate with the design I have, and make my own frames. I have googled & found some instructions, but am wondering if anyone here has tried it & has good advice.
(DD once made a puffy fabric frame in school. I don't necessarily need this to be puffy, though.)

I can think of two ways to do it. Just paste the picture in front.
Or, cut an x and glue back each resulting triangle to back of mat/frame. However, what keeps the corners from fraying? Do I just modpodge the whole thing?

you make a frame with material - then you stuff it with cotton stuffing - using a thin stick be it a dowel, chop sticks, bodkin, knitting needle or some other long thing you can push the cotton into the corners with ... hot glue it to a strong cardboard backing ~ voila
