Did those cookbooks ever go out? I sent in my recipes on time and kinda forgot about it.

I recall reading that someone ran off with the recipes & made her own cookbook ...

As far as I remember that proved completely unfounded.
I think wispalover is in the process of creating an imamother cookbook. Since creating the cookbook isn't her only mission in life I presume it's just taking a little longer than expected to find time to complete...
Hang in there, I beleive it'll turn up sooner or later.

^^ Thanks!
Not due to me, but our graphic designer pulled out a week or two before Pesach (I just updated on the main thread too). She sent all the files to Yael but until we have a GD, we cannot produce the cookbook.
Any volunteers??! The work is all completed and proof-read, we just need a cut, paste, format, make-it-pretty job

I have received the files. I'll format a few pages [after Shabbos] to start to develop a "look" for the cookbook.
As contributors/readers/cooks, how would you want this to look? Do you envision printing out individual recipes? Reading them from a computer tablet on your counter?
Things important to me include:
Readability, clarity of presentation
Attractiveness
Easy to print (not too much ink when printing but more color OK on screen)
Consistency of layout
Recipes shouldn't jump pages (not sure whether that's feasible)
I haven't noticed any screen names on the weeks/recipes I browsed. Did I miss them or was there an editorial decision to leave them out?

Have you vetted all the recipes? One thing I know is that when non professionals write out recipes, half the time steps are missing and ingredients too. If you need a proof reader, possibly a vetter, I might be able to. If I can keep track of my costs and be paid back for them re vetting, no problem.
I work as a professional with food (kosher catering) so I tend to be really good at picking out what works, what does not and what needs fixing before it will work for 'anyone.'

Thanks so much Rubber Ducky!!!
I know for myself I will probably use it on the tablet or computer. I also think a bit of color is good, and someone who doesn't want to waste color ink an dwants to print can always print black & white.

Only some people wanted their SN included and it was REALLY hard for me to figure out which recipes belonged to which person because it involved searching through 52+ weeks of recipes. Sorry everyone
