I have been sending to Masores Day Camp for years, and recently have been considering BYA day camp. Anyone send to both at one time or another, that can provide some info on which is better?
Does anyone know where the second graders go swimming. From my understanding BYA's pool is deep, but I don't want her shortchanged with swimming.

I and all my sisters went to BYA, (before masores was around) we all loved it.
however, now that my youngest sister is in day camp she switched to masores cuz BYA does the same things from year to year. she was coming home with the same arts and crafts projects that I made and we are 8 years apart! masores seems so much more exciting.
as far as the pool is concerned, I think at that age, anyone who knows how to swim can go into the big pool, the others can use the smaller wading pools.

Little engine, first of all, I love your name!!! it's my favorite children's book since I was young!!!!
second of all, I posted the same dillema awhile ago, with not much replies, but I was in between ruach & masores. I've decided on masores. I went to bya as a kid for a long time & loved it there- but dd's friends go to either masores or ruach & I want her to go with s/o.
talking about bya- I love love their mashed potatoes & have been wanting them so long, anyone know how to make them? I tried & it's missing something & I've bought from stores & bya's is still the best!!!

I did not have good experience with Shemesh at all.
My friends that are very happy with day camps send to Masores Ruach & BYA.

I used to work in BYA. very nice people! I worked in the preschool, so I can't tell you about the trips for older kids or pools, though.
