what could I put in a shalach manos for a sailor theme.. I came up with a bottle of water, either jellyfish or a can of tuna...any other ideas?

my son is going to be a shark- so I have a similar situation to u (why r u anonymous? id love to know who elses kid is similar to mine!) im putting in the fancy blue water (actually I think its seltzer) comes in a glass bottle (actually my husband gets it from work) and im putting fishy mandelach, the gummy fish, tuna, its a SWEET TOOTH SHARK theme, hope thats cute. if u have anything to help me, please post!

thats why u need the fishy mandelach, that makes mezonos and the other stuff is shehakol!

you do NOT need 2 different brachos. you need 2 different minim - types of food. its a big misconception.

I actually asked a rov, Twiz. After you give your two MM, you can give any combination of foods/brochos you want. IMO it looks weird to just give a box of chocolate or one nice thing, but I've seen it done by very choshuv ppl.
