My friend took her son to a speech therapist. The therapist, a non-Jew, showed him various pictures and asked him to name the objects and describe their uses. One of the pictures was of an old-fashioned scale. She asked him "What's this?" He answered, "A scale."
"What do we weigh on the scale?" (expecting him to say apples or the like)
"Good deeds and bad deeds." (It was Tishrei time)
Obviously the therapist had absolutely no idea what he was talking about!

my mother's friend is a psychologist. She was testing a child and one question was "who wears bobby pins--girls or boys". Of course, the frum kid said boys! She said it was a good thing she was frum, too!

My sweet little boy was tested for speech therapy when he was in kindergarten. They showed him pictures and wanted him to tell them what the objects were. He was doing fine until they showed him a picture of a gun. He stared at it perplexed for a bit and then his face lit up. "A drill!"
The non-Jewish evaluator was amused. And impressed, I think!
