OK!! We have 52 weeks and some extra bonus weeks!

Please- no more recipes. Check your emails that you sent from to check you received a confirmation/ other from me.

Again- I cannot accept any more recipes at this time- we are completely full.

Thanks so much everyone who participated- if you didn't manage to send in your week, not to worry- you can still receive a copy by paying $5 for a yet-to-be-determined Tzedaka.

As for the next steps:

I think [someone] is going to proof-read (waiting for her confirmation on this) and then HarmonyLover will continue doing the graphic design elements- she is away this weekend but will continue working on it when she gets back.

Thanks so much everyone for your involvement!

Would anyone who has contributed recipes like to volunteer to collect ideas for which Tzedaka we will donate to and agree to be responsible for sending whatever funds we raise on to wherever we select?

I think Yael would like to be a part of deciding where the $$ raised goes to, so I think the best way to do it would be to have the designated individual/s get names or ideas via PM, speak to Yael and then come back and let us know what has been decided. If anyone has an issue with what has been decided they can take it up with that little "sub-committee".

I think this is more private and less embarrassing for those who want to suggest ideas but not in public and not have it be subject to a vote.

Does anyone have an objection to figuring it out this way or have a better idea of how we can choose a tzedaka?

Sorry Sped. I got a MASS influx of emails last night and had way too many to fit in the book- we already have 2 bonus weeks and will probably end up with 5 (am waiting on people who mailed me but missed off recipes/ lots of typos etc).

Maybe Yael can offer this cookbook as a regular feature on the site- with the proceeds going to tzedaka.

This is so awesome. I know I didn't contribute but thanks so much for everyone's time and effort, can't wait to give those $5 to tzedaka Smile

Will other people not from imamother be able to get it too? I can imagine it being really popular.

OK- tzedaka decision update:

SarahD will be accepting suggestions for a Tzedaka. If anyone wants to suggest something- please PM her. Please do not put suggestions on this thread because I do not want anyone to be disappointed if what they are hoping for doesn't pan out.

SarahD will also be responsible for collecting money and passing along the money to whatever organisation is decided upon.

I didn't send in, but would love to pay $5 to tzeddakah and get this cookbook! I also think it would be a great idea to have the option permanently on the site to buy it. Thanks for everyone who worked so hard on this!

Oh I'm just seeing now that you said we shouldn't send anymore. I wrote mine last night but fixed it up this morning and just sent it to you but it's too late. So feel free to discard the email or use recipes from it if you want.

Will you send it to the email addresses we sent it from?

Totally none of My business but if there are others who want to send and it does not take much extra effort to format why not just make it longer? I am sitting here thinking the one person who wants to send might have my families new favorite dinner under her belt lol!

Actually if someone gives to a tzedaka online (like rccs, bonei olam, etc.) They get confirmation immediately, can take a screencap to prove they donated and get their copy. No middleman.
