are they the same? what does kani taste like and the same with mock crab. I never tasted them and I will not buy it unless I have an idea what its like

Kani is Japanese for Crab. So Kani/mock crab is the same thing!
It is basically made out of Pollack (type of fish) and a whole other list of ingredients. It is sweet in flavor. Great for Sushi salads and sushi rolls!
