Does anyone have any experience making rye challa?
I want to make a challa with low gluten (preferably spelt or rye).
And do you know if Rubinfeld sells Whole spelt flour?

I've made spelt challah - recipe and instructions are on here somewhere. You can't use rye flour alone for bread unless you want something that is really, really dense. When you buy rye bread from the bakery, it's often only 1/4 rye flour if that.

I make whole spelt challah and it is delicious.
I use the shibolim recipe for whole-wheat and
substitute spelt. I use less spelt than the recommended whole-wheat.
I would like to try mixing a bit of whole rye into my spelt challah. Any ideas????
