Finally! I've spotted a box of frozen knaffe dough.
Does anyone have recipes for the knaffe pastry with creamy cheese filling in the middle?
Also what else can I do with the dough?

I'll diet tomorrow, but today:
Knafe
400 grams kedaif
150 grms melted butter
filling:
200 grms ricotta
100 grms feta or bulgarit
1/2 cup cream
2 Tbs. sugar
syrup:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
3 drops rosewater
pinch cinnamon
pinch nutmeg
Bring syrup ingred. to a boil, simmer 5 minutes, cool.
Mix kedaif with melted butter till coated. Press down half of the noodles to cover bottom of pan. Mix filling
ingred. till smooth and pour over noodles in pan, cover with rest of noodles.
Bake 20-25 min. at 350 degrees till golden.
To serve, pour over syrup and top with crushed pistachios
You can also use the kedaif to line muffin cups (using melted butter or oil to moisten) bake, and then you have little baskets for sweet or savory fillings.
