Not looking to hijack this thread, but intrigued by some comments: I have a Nautilus, and am now planning to get a graco hi-back booster to use for carpool. I figured I could remove the back as necessary. Is that difficult, too, or is the issue just with the Nautilus?
(BTW, I love the Nautilus for DS- he's big and outgrew the other seats way too quickly. He was too big for his convertible at 2 yrs old... and this way he's still in a 5-pt harness at 4+ yrs, with plenty of room to grow.)

I've taken the nautilus apart many times (to clean) and I've never had a problem putting it back together.
