Ladies, ladies, we appreciate your efforts to entertain, but let's have a bit more effort here.

Lonely in London, you see, has both the L and the O and the N.
So it is not in keeping with this idea to simply alliterate with the first letter.
Lacking in Lakewood,

now there's a good one. You see, it has the L sound, as well as the A (although technically you can complain about a short A and a long A, but let's not be all that picky) and the K sound.

(Even Sleeping in Seattle, you see, has the 'e' sound, as well as the L, although out of order)

I would even accept Bulging in Belgium, where your vowel differs, but you have - count 'em - three consonants. So let's see a bit more effort on this meme, if you please.
