I realize that this is a somewhat old post, but had to comment. I rarely comment on recipes I have found and tried via "Imamother", but had to on this one. In a word: d-e-l-I-c-I-o-u-s! And easy! I made the recipe posted at the beginning of the thread and it came out great. This will definitely go into my "go-to-dessert" file.

I make this all the time. Its delicious. My guests call it the type of cake you can 'pound'. I guess that is why when we have bachrim over they polish it off.

Does it have a strong coffee flavor? I hate coffee.

I use pam with flour. After taking the pan out of the oven I let it sit ona cooling rack for 10 minutes, then I flip it out. 99 percent of the time it comes out perfectly

it has a strong coffee flavor.

I spray the pan with pam or pam with flour
Then I sprinkle the pan liberally with flour and shake it around. Pour out the access and spray with pam again. I'm neurotic but it comes out...

this should work in cupcakes, baked for 1/2 hour, maybe on 325 instead of 350.
I never tried this cake in cupcakes but my white cupcake recipe is very similar to this one (1 cup orange juice instead of the coffee, omit the cocoa) and always comes out perfect.

I know this is an old thread, but I just made this bundt and it delicious an easy, so I'm bumping it up. Also, fOr those of you complaining that the cake sticks, this is my trick for all bundts: I spray the pan and then after baking, I let the cake cool for 20-30 minutes (not more or less) and then flip it. It always comes out clean!
