I use butternut squash, sweet potato and carrots and onions.

off topic sorry, defy did you ever watch the Ali G show? he looks so different hard to recognize him in all that getup

First I saute the onions, then add butternut squash, carrots, cover with water, cook till tender, emulsify, salt, pepper, YUMMY!!!!

And without the spices, really good for baby food.

I love the Ali G show - I think all of Sacha's character's are hilarious. The whole point is that he's hard to recognize.

Butternut Squash Soup:

2 tbsp oil (virgin olive oil adds flavor but any oil will do)
5 large onions
2 tsp salt
3 butternut squashes (or 5 lb)
7 cups water
½ tsp black pepper (optional)
