Pinktichel, 4/5 loads for the 2 of you???????? Are you still washing each item individually? (I still can't believe you do that!)

Is it bad that I still have about 5 loads left from Yom Tov????
I do laundry at least twice a week, but it just seems to be current stuff. dd goes thru at least 2 sets of clothes a day + pjs that get dirty with breafast even with wearing a bib.
I don't have a dryer either!!

E59Y, that so funny, by me its like this, whenever we have to go out I sit infront of my closet and say I have nothing to wear, my dh looks at me like I am crazy and goes in and finds alteast three outfits I can wear, but of course thats not good enough I find everything wrong with them. also whenever we shop he tells me, please dont say now that you have nothing to wear, but of course that never works about three days later I have nothing to wear

I'm officially procrastinating. I have 5-10 loads of dirty laundry sitting in my laundry room and next to my bed. I am sitting here playing on the computer. at least if I don't do laundry I should put away the clean stuff so we can sit on the couches. or at least I should make dinner.
oh well.
life is tough.

My very equally lazy friend gave me this fabulous tip. Wash and dry laundry all week long when you have the time. Put the clean laundry in a humongous garbage bag (I actually found one to match the size that I need!).
Then, once a week I get a cleaning lady to iron, fold and PACK everything away. Surprise – it takes her less than an hour. You won’t believe how fast she can do it once it’s consolidated into one huge pile. I don’t call for help, I’m pushing it off for like years. Good luck!

My washing machine's been broken since Wednesday. We're getting desperate.

Marion, you can always wash them out in the bathtub and blow-dry the panties that you urgently need. Just kidding… good luck!
Procrastination works best by imitation!

and here I was thinking I can't do laundry bc my dryer is unhooked
(we had a leak in a pipe and the guy who fixed it unhooked the dryer at the same time, he said we need it to be vented or it can poison our downstairs neighbor)
so til hubby fixes it I did a load and hung e/thing on hangers
but still needed more space so I strung a laundry line made of packing tape
and took the socks and undies to my inlaws to use their dryer, wet laundry is too heavy ot schlep and I dont have too much time to hang out by my inlaws
