I am completely off dairy, straight eggs, and straight soy products because I'm nursing allergic dd. I need ideas what to make to eat during the 9 days. I also try to limit my wheat intake because it's not great for my stomach. I'm really nervous about what I'm going to do during the 9 days. I can eat things that have eggs baked in but not scrambled eggs/omelets/egg salad type of things, and the same for soy. All ideas are welcome and appreciated! Thanks!

tuna patties/tuna in a salad/tuna and mashed potatoes casserole
baked/broiled fish
baked potatoes/sweet potatoes
rice
oatmeal

If you are nursing, even without all the other restrictions, the MB gives a heter for poultry, I think till zayin Av. Ask your LOR.

Ask a shaila. Between you and your nursling, there is room within the halacha to be lenient. I was rather surprised at how much red meat and poultry I could eat when on a limited diet due to those factors.

Thanks! | I just asked a rav, because I'm completely off gluten, completely off dairy, and try to limit eggs and soy in my house. I'm also nursing. He gave me a heter, no problem, to eat fleishigs during the 9 days.

falafel, majedra, lentil soup or spiced lentils, vegetable curry, thick vegetable soup filled with beans, barley, lentils etc.
I sometimes have a big salad with pasta, chickpeas, corn, all kind of veg - very filling.

I'm FT nursing a seriously allergic child. I'm off soy, cow's products (goat is ok for some reason), and gluten (I have Celiac Disease). I tend towards anemia and normally eat a ton of red meat in addition to taking massive amounts of vitamins (IM not oral).
I have no clue what I'm going to eat for nine days.
I'm embarrased to call my rav to ask if I can eat poultry. I should get over that, right? Just call?

Yes you should call especially if you are nursing an allergic child.

call. last time I did I was told I can eat chicken and meat if its shabbos leftovers and not in the last 3 days.
OP, you didn't mention a fish allergy, at least you have that. we are off milk and fish, my daughter was off soy for the past 10 months and we just started giving it to her again since we are doing allergy testing next week

you could use tofu it doesnt have a taste and you could use it in a stir fry or make all diffrent recepies

Not OP - and I can have fish - although I remember a thread from awhile back where there is someone on here who is dairy, soy, gluten, and fish free.
Poor Woman.
*sigh*
And it's because I can have fish, goat milk products, and eggs that I'm debating whether I should call or not.

im debating asking also for my daughter who is 3 and cant eat soya products, or dairy, soya makes her go crazy and have major tantrums. I wonder what I will make...

So I feel a bit weird asking about eating chicken because my nursing dd is 18 months already. I'm not sure if I should/want to ask. Last year, I didn't know the extent of her allergies and I was only off dairy so it was manageable, this year......
I don't generally eat things with baked eggs, but I'm thinking (hoping?) that it would be ok.
bnm, good luck with the allergy testing!!
I would eat quinoa but I have issues with checking/washing it so I just don't eat it. I guess we will be eating lots of tuna, salmon, salads, vegetable soups.
Would love recipes that are not with wheat/potatoes.

last year I started out trying to go without eating chicken- I had found a cheese alternative that tasted great and was versatile, I has menus and everything, wasn't pregnant or nursing and then the cheese gave me such heartburn I caved and called the dayan and got the heter for chicken.

noodles and sauteed cabbage
vegetable calzone
potato knish with mushroom sauce
rice and beans
buritto- wrap with beans and veggies
bagel with chumus and fresh veggies
sesame noodles with edamame and veggies mixed in
letcho- sauted onions, green peppers and tomatoes ketchup squeeze salt and pepper
big fresh salad with craisins and nuts sprinkled in
mushroom barley soup
