Sorry, it has been awhile, but your dolls are wonderful! Did you use a pattern or make them up yourself?

I made a pencil case for my 7 y.o. ds. The one he always gets breaks in middle of the year. I hope this one will last longer.

I have a bunch of things I haven't posted yet so here goes.

Okay, this isn't sewing but another art project I did last year. I fake -stained -glass painted the windows of the door to my laundry room so it still lets in light somewhat but hides the mess in there.

Here is a dress I made for my dd:

and matching hairclip:

Ottoman covers I made for someone:

I'd love to see some of everyone else's recent projects! Post away!

Everything is really nice, but my favorite is the glass. I love stained glass. My sil made a stained glass challa tray, never saw it though.

I turned a no-sew wrap into a sewing project when I added a front panel pocket to them. One is for my expected grandfetus, b'ezrat Hashem, the other is a gift to a friend who is also expecting her first baby.

In September I'll be making mei-tais for them.

First one:

Pocket with a heart patch to hide a small cut I accidentally made :(

Second one:

Top edge of the pocket and each bottom corner is trimmed with ladybug buttons

Thanks. It is hard not to want to turn the whole house into a stained glass frenzy. The fake painted kind can't really be put onto an outer door that gets too hot or too cold so you have to find an inner door. We have a glass window at the top of two bathroom doors that I've wanted to do for some time but they won't let in as much light in case I need it sometime if the light is turned off on Shabbat by mistake or power goes out. Once it is cured on the glass, you can't remove it.

Yesha, it is really nice.

Friend of mine recently showed me how to make these fabric bowls. They are very addictive and easy to make. There are a lot of possibilities to make other things with the technique, and to add design elements.

Think they will be my new hostess gifts when people have us for meals.

HSG, they look great!! I've made fabric bowls, but much, much easier and not as intricate.

I just concocted something very cute and useful, but I am not comfortable posting under my screen name. Can anyone think of another appropriate forum for us shy crafters?

First, you need to have this picture posted somewhere on the Web publicly. Then you link this picture on your post here. I hope this helps.

how about a pattern for zip front shabbos robes? Something with 2 or 3 decorative options?

You can take your favorite blouse pattern with a zip front and extend it to a dress length of robe length. It's very easy. I have a PDF tutorial that does the extension from blouse to whatever length you desire.
