My very close friend has an unbelievably smart kid. THis is what this 6-year-old came up with not too long ago.
"Tatti, you know how when Hashem told Avraham to give Yitzchok as karbon to Hashem? WEll, I was just wondering, if Hashem came to you and asked you that, would I also go as karbon? would you do it?"

Wow  That's a tough one. I have no idea what I would say...
Maybe they should refrain from teaching that part of the parsha to kids that age... it might be scary for them.

I would say that from Avraham and Yitzchok, we can see that if hashem asks something like this, it is only a test. Hashem would never really have someone give their child as a korbon.
