Yes, she has an agenda, that children shouldn't get molested and raped and have their rapists and molesters get away with it. Bring me a reason why that is a bad thing.

Nuchum Rosenberg's agenda is also to keep our children safe.

Just so we are clear on what this group's aims are. B"H they are out there and working to bring justice and healing to victims.

If an "outsider" comes in, you aren't going believe them either. If it's a non-Jew, someone from outside the community, etc., they'll be disregarded for that reason. "Ach, we should believe a [gentile] over such a choshuv man?" "Oh, we should believe a whatever over a rabbi?"

the problem is that only very few victims (in cheraidi communities) speak up and take their abusers to court. and those who do speak up do it thru ppl such as Nuchem Rosenburg who ppl disregard for various reasons as they are not reliable ppl. if the victims and their families came on their own account and reported abuse right away instead of keeping everything to themselves out of fear, there would've been enough evidence. (I'm not necessarily referring to this case as I don't know the true story)

He did not rape her, she was told to perform acts on him. He told her that every good father teaches there daughter when they are 12 years old how to do this, and since she doesn't have a good father he will teach her!

He didn't rape her, he told her to perform s.. acts on him. And he said that only a good father teaches their daughter how to do it once they turn 12 and since she doesn't have a good father he will teach her.

A lot of the people claiming to know the real story only have a handful of posts. Maybe they're calling each other to come respond on imamother, as if the court of public opinion is the one that matters? I get the sense several of the people who posted here are being deliberately stupid. They can breath and type at the same time, so they have enough brain cells to figure out all on their own that "chashuve" doesn't mean "innocent," that the chances of a teen falsely reporting a rape just for revenge are around zero, etc.

But they don't want to. Bottom line, they really don't want to believe it's true, so they won't.

I've been trying to avoid arguing the details of the case (that is, which version of events sounds more believable) just because I don't even want to get into that, IMO any argument in her favor just invites people to see this as a legitimate forum to discuss the merits of the case and therefore an OK place for personal attacks... I will say, though, that the arguments made by Weberman's supporters here don't exactly make it easier to believe him.
