I need to make a pasta salad for shabbos lunch as I have extra guests. I've cooked the pasta and want to put in cherry tomatoes and corn (I dont have any mushrooms or olives)
Can you suggest a nice dressing for pasta, tomatoes and corn? A mayo dressing is fine, I'm just not one of those people who can 'throw' things together so I need advice...
Thank you!!

This one isnt mayo based but its gooooood. You may want to replace the corn with sautéed peppers and onions though, its really good that way. Its up to you.
Half vinegar half oil (1/3 each)
Basil, oregano (tsp each)
Sun dried tomatoes (4 whole ones)
Onion powder (2 tsp)
Salt and pepper as you like it
Sugar (1tsp)
Blend in food processor. Add to sautéed onions and peppers. Refrigerate.
YUMMY!

Here's a dressing I got from here for a pasta salad. The recipe calls for pasta and scallions, but I think the dressing will work with cherry tomatoes and baby corn too. This recipe is for a pound of pasta.
1/2 cup (8 Tbls) mayo
2 tsp. salt
1 and 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
half a lemon (2 and 1/2 Tbls)
scant Tbls sugar
You can probably sub vinegar for the lemon juice.
