Hello everyone, OP here.
Could someone please explain why everyone here thinks I am joking? When people posted on the Hot Chani thread that they dressed in a way that was machshil es harabim (caused many people to sin) no-one there laughed and thought they were jk? 
Like I said, at least my habits aren't machshil other people.
At least I learned something from that thread. That if my dh thinks eating hot piggy is good and he likes me to do that, then it's fine. 
BTW, thanks for all the compliments.
Marney, I wasn't poking fun at your starting the thread itself.
And choccy, we can't buy those products where I live.

Ok amother, here's the difference. Pay attention :
Eating piggy is assur min hatorah, parshas shmini.
Wearing boots is assur from which parshah ? Wearing long sheitel is assur from which chelek gemara ? Which seif in the shulchan aruch assurs wearing a knee length skirt and boots ?
Maybe, maybe, you could fit it in as an issue under das yehudi/minhag hamakom.
Got that ? Try googling "gray area in halacha" if you've not heard the term before.

I learned that men should be a little responsible for themselves. If we expect our husbands to not sin because of every tight-jeaned, low cut top secular woman ( many of them out there), surely we can expect them to not sin because of the hot chanies. No ?
And I read the entire thread and did not see a post from a woman who wrote that she explicitly tries to seduce other men. There were however posts from women who try to be attractive in general. I don't think that falls into "giluy arayos" but hey, ask your LOR.

Healthymama, I'm sure this topic was discussed in the past and I don't want to be repetitious. From what I read, OP is trying to bring up a point. Sure, you can come up with all these wonderful excuses (the man should take responsiblity/she didn't mean to seduce etc.) but the bottom line is, we might very well be doing Aveiros by dressing improperly. Ever heard of the term נבל ברשות התורה? You can do everything within Torah-limits and still be considered a vile person. Just like eating less than a Kezayis pork irks you, so should wearing a borderline skirt or other "Mar'in Bishin" irk you.

My separate keilim include a special burner which I keep with the cat's food dish.
But I still haven't had an answer why people think dressing like a Hot Chani is OK (for those who said it is) and I'm not. Guess they don't have an answer.

because eating pig is assur deoraysa, everyone here will agree that eating pig for pleasure is a no-no
"hot chanies" are assur deoraysa? derabanan? - maybe? depends who you ask? depends on what the girls intentions are? depends on what is considered hot as compared to other jewish women? depends on what is considered hot as compared to other non jewish women? depends if people think high boots are hookery? depends on if husbands will sin or not?you can see that everyone here can't agree that "hot chanies" are straight out 100% assur - showing that the assurness of it is debatable
Gosh - I wish these "hot chanie" threads would just stop

Furthermore - as we've seen in the Hot Chanie thread, this look isn't so definable, and many people interpret the Hot Chanie look differently.
Pig isn't kosher no matter which way you slice it - but not all Hot Chanies are necessarily going against halacha.
