Israeli date spread
It really depends on your circles. I have chareidi relatives who wrapped things up within 3 dates, one week.

How can I dress up a soup
I read as:
How can I dress up as a soup
Someone's taking MM themes too far!

How can I dress up a soup?
Yes, I know what she meant but for some reason I pictured a soup bowl dancing in the snow in a scarf, gloves, coat, boots and a hat

And I keep picturing Amelia Bedilia 'dressing' the chicken.

"OK for DH to try milk?"
1. He's a grown man -- I think he can give it a try. How did he get to this age without knowing if he's lactose intolerant or not?
2. Have him ask his rav.

"Define and describe what it means to be a Trekkie"
We wear lots of black, but do wear colored shirts although the color depends on the group we affiliate with. There are unfortunately a few women who don't dress so tzanua but after a few years they usually improve.
We have separate replicators for meat, milk, and pareve.
There is no prohibition against women piloting ships.
We always ask our rav before reversing the polarity of the warp core or bypassing the primary circuits of the deflector array.

The Minbari rav has paskened that the head bone does not need to be covered so ladies usually leave it out and wear special two-piece sheitels, but some are more machmir and wear a giant cloak with a backwards hood that completely covers their head, face, and chest. Centauri women shave, but some more modern ladies leave a tefach of pony tail. Ferengi ladies don't cover--at all--although this is slowly changing in the younger generations, BH.

What about the original Trekkies? Are they a different min? Must one accept the new generation?
