Hi I'm a p3 provider-Do any p3 providers know if I can do makeups and how you bill for them? Can I do makeups in the summer for hanukah and passover vacations? thanks!!!

Technically, no. The P-4 form (I haven't seen a P3 in a while, have you? They seem to all be re-labeled now) says on it something to the effect of "Make-up sessions may only be provided in the same week as a missed session and not on the same day as a regular session." But to my understanding, that's ridiculous - what if the kid is absent on Friday, they never get a makeup because it's a new week? And some kids need to have more than one session in a day, they're down for 7 or 10 per week and last time I checked the workweek was 5 days, so what's with the one session per day business?
Personally, I usually don't do make-ups because my schedule simply doesn't have time for any more than my regularly scheduled sessions. And if I do have time to grab a couple of extra minutes, there's usually room for it on the billing sheet because most of my kids get less than their mandated time anyway (due to schedule constraints. So if the kid is down for 5 hours a week and I usually see him 4, I can do a make up session and just count it as a regular 5th session which he was supposed to be getting anyway in an ideal world.)
You definitely can't do it over the summer unless the student is mandated for 12-month services (uncommon indeed) but you could do it on other days off during the school year, as long as it's not a legal holiday.
