I am going on Sunday, IY"H to have pictures taken with my 2 month old. can anyone tell me anything I need to know? How many changes of clothing? feed right before or way before? should I be in the picture as well? should my husband? sleeping photos or awake? naked?
if it helps to know- I'm going to JC Penny- do they have props?

I don't know anything about JC Penny pictures or taking of a 2 month old, but I have taken my kids to other places. The minimum of change of clothing is 1. You don't have to change the baby at all if you don't want. I would guess the max is whatever package you choose, but 2 is enough, I think, but 3 if you really want. Do you really want to change a baby so many times? You and your dh can be in the pictures if that's the kind of picture you want. That's up to you. When I brought my children, it was just them, but then again, I ended up taking family pictures by weddings. You will get sleeping photos or awake ones depending on the baby at the time you're there. Naked pictures are really cute, but I wouldn't do it. It really depends on your baby on how he is after a feeding. Does he get sleepy afterwards, throw up, etc... You have to figure out when after he eats, he's the happiest.

Again it does depend on your child. The photographers are great and well experienced- theyll help you with ideas. Think about if theres anything special of the babys to bring along- a blanket... I took my dd for her 2 mos pix in just a onesie which came out really cute bec you still see her chubby hands and body but shes not tot naked.
