Pear Raspberry crumble from Kosher Palette

Could anybody possibly post this recipe from the kosher Palette, please?

I had it at someone's house over yom tov and it was delicious. Not sure if that is the name though. It was served warm, with a crispy crumble on top. YUM!!!!!

Ooo..does sound good.

I make an apple crumble but it's obviously not quite as exotic as this!

are you sure it was from the kosher palette? I checked and couldn't find it or anything similar. sorry.

Are you talking about the Kosher Palette I or II? I have the Palette I in front of me and I'm not sure which dessert you're referring to.

There's one berry cake which is dairy, so I doubt you're talking about that. And there's another blueberry and raspberry tart but the top is the fruit, not a crumble.

Thanks anon, I'm not sure if it's I or II. I was pretty sure it was kosher palette, maybe I'm wrong. Guess I'll have to get it from my hosts. Thanks anyway.

BTW, if anyone has a similar recipe, I'd like to have it . Thanks.

Pear and Cranberry Crisp (Parve), The Kosher Palette II, page 203

-3 large pears (such as Anjou, Bosc or Bartlett), peeled, cored and sliced
-1 cup fresh cranberries, rinsed and picked over
-3/4 cup plus 2 to 4 tablespoons sugar
-3/4 cup all-purpose flour
-1/2 teaspoon nutmeg or cinnamon
-1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
-1/2 cup (1 stick) cold margarine, cut into small pieces
-1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
-1/2 cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats (not instant)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Arrange pears and cranberries in the bottom of a greased, shallow 1 1/2-quart baking dish or 9-inch glass baking dish. Sprinke fruit with 2 to 4 tablespoons sugar, depending on fruit's sweetness. Mix 3/4 cup sugar with flour, nutmet and salt in a large bowl. Cut in margarine with a pastry blender or two knives until mixture resembles large crumbs. Stir in walnuts and oats and mix well. Sprinkle over the fruit. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until filling is bubbly and top is light brown. Best served warm with cream or ice cream. Makes 6 servings.

plus, cranberries are all over the place right now. I have to remember to buy some and freeze them so I have them when I want to make something and then can't find fresh cranberries.

yummmm!!!!
that is good! I just made it.
but I didn't put in cranberries an I didn't sprinkle any sugar on tthe pears. I also added vanilla and cinn. to the pears.
I can't stop eating it!

I made it, but I substituted frozen raspberries(thawed first) for the cranberries. I also omitted the nuts and oatmeal from the crumble, and used a recipe I have for a different crumble for the topping.

It came about delicious, it was warm and bubbly and the sugar sprinled over the fruit gave it an extra sweetness, especially because the pears weren't so sweet to begin with.

We're spending Yom Tov at a friend's house and they still eat in the sukkah on shemini Atzeres, so it'll be the perfect warm dessert tonight - BRRRR it's cold here in NY.
