This recipe is from fresh n easy cookbook.
I made it shabbos and it was great. I just cant remember the ing for the measurements. can anyone help?
Also, does anyone have a good soup recipe?

6 tbsp vinegar
4 tbsp oil
2 tbsp sugar
salt and pepper to taste.
by this way, does anyone else find this cookbook rather simple and UNgourmet? and really not healthy?..im so unimpressed with it or maybe I am just so used to KBD.

Sarachana, I totally hear what you're saying - it's extremely easy recipes, nothing fancy. I'd have to look again to assess the health level, but I think I saw a lot of protein and salads.
I guess you enjoy cooking, if you liked Kosher by Design.
Fresh and Easy is exactly what I was looking for, though. I like recipes to be as QUICK as possible, and I am a bit clueless in the kitchen, so this is a book-ful of ideas for me.

I agree about the cookbook, I expected it to have a lot more to offer. No healthy stuff in there at all. Perhaps some grilled vegetable sort of thing. Very simple, nothing gourmet. But great for ppl that want that sort of thing!

I agree with you. I'm always excited when a new cookbook comes out, because I love cookbooks. I browsed through this one in the store but didn't end up buying it because my overall impression was that the recipes were mostly pretty unhealthy, and there wasn't anything too new or exciting that I haven't seen before. I wish there were more healthy cookbooks!
