Hello
We are starting a program in our community for girls (after school hours)
Where each session we will learn about one Jewish women (from Sarah Imeinu, to Devora to
Sara Schenirer , to Yehudis . . .)
We need activity ideas for different nevios and other famous women.
So for Sarah Imeinu we can decorate candle sticks (because her Shabbos candles in her tent lasted from one week to the next), We can also make Challah (to remind us of the Mitzvah of separating challah)
Let me know all your creative baking ideas, or arts and crafts ideas for different ladies of valor who
we would want our frum Jewish girls to emulate and learn from in a fun way!

devorah: make beeswax candles-
she was eshes lapidos which can be explained to mean she made lapidos, wicks, to light up the beis medrish, and had her husband deliver them so that he would be influeced to learn torah.
yehudis: have a cheese tasting  see which ones make you thirstiest.

I am wondering if there are any books, or websites maybe that I can get more ideas.
Maybe somewhere with ideas of Bat Mitzvah class activities?

Sara Schenirer - maybe you could do something with sewing, clothes or fashion design. She was a seamstress b4 she started teaching and was upset at the declining standards of tznius
For Rachel/Leah - flower arranging (they traded the dudaim) or learn sign language (Rachel gave Leah the signs she had made up with Yakov avinu)
