My dh is pretty fussy. He doesn't eat peppers, cabbage, pickles, olives and raw onions. I need some salad ideas that doesn't include them. I on the other hand love most veggies and salads and like to have a few for the fish course but I am having trouble coming up with ones dh will eat. All and any ideas welcome. TIA

Greek salad without the olives (the way I make it for my dh)
crisp salad with romaine, kirbys, grape tomatoes, lemon, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper
creamy garlic salad with lettuce, cucumbers, mushrooms, mayo, etc.
balsamic vinaigrette salad with romaine and grape tomatoes
portobello mushroom salad
caesar salad with lettuce, grape tomatoes, and croutons
deli salad with lettuce, tomatoes, deli, yellow croutons, and sweet mayo dressing
lemon dill carrot salad
avocado salad with tomatoes, avocado, garlic
hearts of palm salad with tomatoes and avocado
avocado dressing salad (I also omit the olives for dh)

Can I get recipes for the bold please? Exact measurements if possible?

Here are recipes for both.
You can totally leave out the raw onion from the portobello salad recipe.

One of the things I used to do for my salad was to take a large 'chip and dip platter and put each of the beggies into its own section.

This way the kid who doesn't eat tomatoes and cukes can make her salad with lettuce and mushrooms and corn and cauliflower. The husband who doesn't touch mushrooms could make his own mix of tomatoes, cukes, peppers and carrots and the kid who doesn't like too much lettuce can add just the right amount.

Thanks all good suggestions! I think I just need to make a list of salads he eats or that can be easily modified to his taste. He doesn't mind picking rind things he didn't like as long as their aren't to many he doesn't like in it. Part of mt problem is I really like some of the stuff he doesn't... Oh well. Yep We sometimes do build your own salad type of thing that works well.
